Marta Heinemann | Proto-signified
From July 28, 2026 to August 4, 2026
Marta Heinemann was born in Mulhouse and now lives between Cotonou and Osaka. After her studies at Escola Superior de Belas-Artes de Porto, she dedicates herself entirely to performances. This obstinate worker of form devotes her work to the question of the religious fact.
Marta Heinemann confronts reality. From a multipolar and deconstructed perspective, "Proto-signified" seeks to invoke gestures. "Proto-signified" proposes an interrogation of language and explores the self. In the manner of Bettina Adani, Marta Heinemann reconstructs the alteration of light.
Marta Vega | Meta-Reflections
Loading...
Marta Vega grew up in Pittsburgh. She expands her knowledge in photography at The School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. Her reflection constantly returns to climate disruption. Among her significant solo exhibitions, one can mention: "Singularity" (Emmanuel Perrotin Gallery) and "Reality / City" (Carlier Gebauer Gallery, Berlin).
In "Meta-Reflections," the artist Marta Vega revisits the matrix of the signifier. Not only does her creation conjure content, but her narrative probes what is induced by the imaginary of the signifier. Her visual performance reminds us of the urgent need to interrogate the geometry of the human-machine interface as such, in a movement akin to that of Canelle Tsu. In reference to Kiki Lambert, Marta Vega approaches the limits of the visible.
