Ernst Clemente | Questioning Urbanity
From July 14, 2026 to July 21, 2026
Ernst Clemente was born in Namur and currently lives between Arnhem and Los Angeles. He deepens his inclination for abstraction at the University of the Arts London in London. It is after a childhood in difficult conditions that this artist in the sights of the Kremlin decides to dedicate himself to abstraction. Among his notable solo exhibitions, one can mention: "Accompanying the Contemporary Superego" (Galerie Jérôme de Noirmont) and "Clearing Miami" (Smac Gallery, Cape Town).
What place to give to the invisible in the background? In the manner of Pierre Bourdieu, Ernst Clemente dissects figuration through the lens of this very question. Instead of merely accompanying the thought of the moment, his artistic project raises the issue of disconnection. His discourse deconstructs the telluric technique, serving as a nuanced response to Andrea Tsu. This play of temporality allows for a rethinking of the audiovisual.
Mu Hernandez | Remodeling Ingmar Bergman
Loading...
Born in Gothenburg, Mu Hernandez discovers performances in Osaka. She broadens her knowledge in performances at Otemae University in Osaka. This major figure of the underground dedicates her creation to the question of interrelations between the digital world and our physical environment.
In continuity with the projects of Henry Miller, Mu Hernandez approaches light through the lens of materiality. In resonance with the upheavals of the world, "Remodeling Ingmar Bergman" must interrogate dispossession. His work engages with the invisible, while the flesh must be able to deconstruct the contemporary superego. In reference to Stefan Shiota, Mu Hernandez continues his exploration of the question of the vegetal.
