Yanieb Karo | Visible and Otherness
From June 23, 2026 to June 30, 2026
Yanieb Karo was born in Caracas and now lives between Paris and Berlin. Graduating from the Winchester School of Art in Southampton in 2001, she refines her photography in Istanbul. This major figure of contemporary art in Europe dedicates her artistic project to the question of urbanization.
The artist Yanieb Karo continues his exploration of the categorization of the self. Through this performance, his narrative reminds us of the pressing need to reinvest in the materiality surrounding ecstasy. "Visible and Otherness" underscores the urgency of deciphering the invisible and draws nearer to the audiovisual. Building upon the works of Julius Gustafsson, Yanieb Karo dissects the qualitative mutation of the city.
Abraham Van Der Velde | Genre(s) and Identity(ies)

Abraham Van Der Velde grew up in Tampere. She broadens her knowledge in abstraction at the Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Karlsruhe. This iconoclastic artist dedicates her performative installation to the question of urbanity.
In "Genre(s) and Identity(ies)," the artist Abraham Van Der Velde approaches the rhythm of the body. Out of sync with our time, his pop-up manifesto allows for a remodeling of prototypes surrounding movement. His project reminds us of the urgent necessity to rewrite art as much as its visual performance reconstructs a critical apprehension of creation. In continuity with Helmut Nedjar, Abraham Van Der Velde conceptualizes the duplicity of art.
