Georg Lambert | Urbanity²
From September 2, 2025 to September 9, 2025
Georg Lambert grew up in Mulhouse. A graduate of the University of the Philippines in Quezon City in 1986, he completed his performance art in Miami. This prominent figure of the underground dedicates his narrative to the question of movement in the communion relationships between man and the wild nature.
In the intriguing work titled "Urbanity²", the artist Georg Lambert engages in a true upheaval of established conventions regarding content. He opens unexpected pathways for questioning not only the moment as it presents itself to us, but also what it truly means to "be" in that moment. His project, deeply critical, does not merely revolve around audiovisual aspects but also ventures into the heart of a visual performance that boldly explores the concepts of pixelation as one might imagine it in a contemporary museum. "Urbanity²" is not limited to a mere observation; rather, it summons the invisible, urging a deep reflection. Under the guise of this complex play of boundaries, the work emits a resounding alarm, calling for a redefinition of the dispossession that permeates our modernity.
Fiona Stomberg | Invisible, space, crowd
Loading...
Fiona Stomberg grew up in Malmö, Sweden. She was in residence at the School of Fine Arts in Lyon until 1999. Her unorthodox work is informed by an adolescence marked by exile.
Like a subtle response in shadow to the work of Douanier Rousseau, Fiona Stomberg engages in a profound conceptualization of the city. She tirelessly invests her creativity to reinvest the horizon of urbanity within an ephemeral exhibition that constantly evolves. Her approach, both disarticulated and psychological, aims to transcend simple images to propose a performed presentation that manages to accompany ecstasy while probing the complex implications of urbanization on human experience. Titled "Invisible, space, crowd," this artistic project sets itself the ambitious goal of rewriting meaning, finely articulated around the material itself, its textures, and its forms. Openly inspired by the techniques of Jackson Pollock, Fiona Stomberg deeply explores the resonances of what emerges from the definitive trace of transcendence... Every detail becomes an invitation to reflect on our relationship with the contemporary world.
