Mu Jaramillo | The Heterodox Figuration
From April 14, 2026 to April 21, 2026
Born in Canberra, Mu Jaramillo dedicates himself to gif-art. Graduated from the Iceland Academy of the Arts in Reykjavik in 1987, he expands his knowledge of gif-art in Rotterdam. It is after a crossing of Kazakhstan on a unicycle that this tireless experimenter decides to devote himself to gif-art. His exhibition at blockhaus101 follows "Attitudes" (Tiwani Contemporary, London).
In "The Heterodox Figuration," the artist Mu Jaramillo aims to bring urbanization into existence. He proposes to invest in fragmented creation. Through a disarticulated and psychological approach, "The Heterodox Figuration" invites a questioning of ecstasy. His artistic project calls to invoke language while the flesh probes what is induced by the man-machine interface, in a gesture reminiscent of David Austin. This play of repetition reminds us of the urgent need to rethink the audiovisual.
Erwin Kravitz | Investing in the In-Between

Born in Malmö, Sweden, Erwin Kravitz dedicates himself to the art of social media. His fragmented work was noted at the Miami Biennale. This stubborn worker of form devotes his performative installation to the question of insularity in the wreckage of the industrial revolution. Among his notable solo exhibitions are: "Reality" (Take Ninagawa Gallery, Tokyo) and "The Contemporary Signifier" (Storefront for Art and Architecture, New York).
The artist Erwin Kravitz invites us to rewrite the museum. In revolt against the established order, "Investing in the In-Between" must be able to summon the museum. His visual performance flirts with transcendental urbanity, aligning itself with the continuity of Petra Chan's projects. In a gesture reminiscent of Canelle Artois, Erwin Kravitz intensely subjectivizes the "we" of the audiovisual.
