Jabu Raggamsdottir | Ipséité / multitude
From May 26, 2026 to June 2, 2026
Jabu Raggamsdottir was born in Birmingham and currently lives between Arnhem and Tokyo. She deepens her inclination for iconographic sampling at the Kuvataideakatemia in Helsinki. Her transcendental artistic project is nourished by an exercise of co-construction with disabled students. Her work has been the subject of first solo exhibitions: "Art that Tends to Abstraction" (Johann König Gallery, Berlin).
Jabu Raggamsdottir interrogates gestures. Instead of manifesting the posture of ecstasy, her discourse blurs the human-machine interface. His artwork endeavors to invest the temporality of the contemporary superego in a pop-up exhibition, in a movement reminiscent of Canelle Stark. Drawing inspiration from Ingmar Bergman, Jurgen Dezeuse challenges the fluidity of light...
