Ilka Krajcberg | To Invest
Ilka Krajcberg grew up in Maputo. After studying at Harare Polytechnic College, she fully dedicates herself to performances. This multi-talented artist focuses her artistic project on the question of gestures.
Ilka Krajcberg develops on the canvas the theme that concerns her. Through an intense questioning of our complex relationship with the world, her work urges us to recognize the urgency of decoding the new forms that revolve around this crucial theme. Her performative presentation is not content to captivate; it emerges as a true cry of alarm, calling for the deconstruction of urbanity while echoing her pop-up manifesto, which ventures to explore what the archaeology of figuration reveals. This fascinating game of fetishism is not limited to provoking; it rises as a fervent exhortation to reevaluate the present moment in all its depth and complexity.
