Gareth Nedjar | Ego of Moments
Born in Taipei, Gareth Nedjar discovers video in Montevideo. He develops his mastery of video at the Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture in Aalto. This diligent worker of form was marked by a revealing hunger strike.
What are we to make of the representation of the body in contemporary Europe? In his work titled "Ego of Moments," the artist Gareth Nedjar raises a genuine alarm, a pressing call to reflect on the self and the intimate dimensions of our existence. Through this artistic declaration, his project aims to explore and illuminate the issues of gentrification as analyzed by Michel Houellebecq, thereby revealing the underlying tensions of a society in flux. "Ego of Moments" ambitiously seeks to grasp the reality that surrounds us while inviting dialogue around the creative process and the artistic dynamics at play.
